Welcome to my profile here on Suite101!

I wanted to start off by saying how happy I am to be a part of this unique website and how excited I am for all of you to discover my articles.

Although I am primarily a designer now, I have been writing since I was in grade school starting out with short stories and poetry which I still dabble in occasionally. I started writing non-fiction in high school when I ran a blog writing movie reviews on the Rotten Tomatoes community site because I had a job at a movie theatre. I have worked as a freelance photographer and have been on the casts and crews of a few short films here in Greensboro, NC.

I graduated with a B.S. in Visual Communications (film, graphic design, etc.) in December 08 and plan to get a Master's Degree soon.

I am now a student of many disciplines including languages, music, writing, ancient cultures, travel and am preparing to go to Thailand in 2009. I spent the first half of 2008 tutoring ESL students and working with special needs children. I have come here to Suite 101 to write on a lot of different subjects that I know of but which I would not otherwise have an outlet for.
